miDiagnostics is developing an ultra-fast COVID-19 PCR test that delivers a reliable result in 15 minutes saving you both time and inconvenience.

This study S65972 has been approved by the Research Ethics Committee UZ/KU Leuven.

We will use one additional deep nasal swab to compare this new diagnostic method with the current diagnostic practice.

This study will allow us to better understand the functioning of our new ultra-fast PCR test in an Airport environment. We hope to make this rapid PCR test generally available in the future.

In a next stage of the study, instead of a nasal swab, a breath sample will be taken to investigate further the performance of a breath sample on our Ultra-fast PCR.

What is required?

One additional deep nasal swab will be taken during your standard collection. There is no need to make any additional visits.
